During a routine trip up a mountain near our home to gather firewood, we encountered an unimaginable sight—a helpless dog trapped and wounded. Our own dog led us to him, where we found him lying motionless, with tears streaming down his face. His body was emaciated, just skin and bones, and his leg was caught in a rusted animal trap, which had severely injured him.

We quickly sent for help and tried to calm the poor dog, who was understandably fearful. After much effort, we managed to free him from the trap and rushed him to the nearest veterinary hospital, which was hours away. The veterinarians were shocked at the extent of his injuries—his leg was broken, and his body was frail from days of suffering in the cold.

Despite the grim situation, the vets decided to operate, knowing it was risky but necessary. Miraculously, the surgery was a success. Over the next few weeks, the dog began to recover, regaining his strength and trust in us. Though he lost a leg, his resilience shone through, and today, he’s on the path to a new, happier life. We’re committed to helping him heal fully, knowing that his extraordinary courage will carry him through.
