While shopping at the market, we came across a pregnant dog in desperate need of help. Her fur was covered in dirt, and her thin body showed signs of near-term pregnancy. Braving the cold winter, she wandered the market searching for food and a safe place to give birth. Seeing her plight, we immediately took her into our care, bringing her to our home.

Exhausted, she rested in our front yard. That evening, we provided her with food and let her relax. The next morning, under the warm sun, we gently bathed her, removing the dirt from her coat. With her health stabilizing, she seemed more comfortable and stronger. As she prepared to give birth, we made sure to set up a cozy and safe space for her and her soon-to-arrive puppies.

Soon after, she began laboring, and one by one, her six puppies were born. We ensured each pup was healthy and moved the family to a well-prepared, comfortable room. As days passed, her health improved, and her puppies thrived, growing rapidly and starting to explore their surroundings.

Now, a few weeks later, the puppies are playful and thriving, and their mother has regained her strength. Watching this family flourish has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited to see them continue to grow in their new home.
