While traveling on a cold, busy highway, we spotted her—a pregnant dog lying motionless, exhausted, and freezing on the roadside. No one had stopped to help her, but her pleading eyes told us she desperately needed assistance. We quickly moved her to our car and, with limited options, went to the nearest pharmacy for immediate care. Too weak to eat, she cautiously took the medicine through a tube. We brought her home, built a warm shelter, and slowly nursed her back to health.

Four days later, she gave birth to three healthy puppies. Though drained, her joy at seeing her pups outweighed her exhaustion. However, one of the puppies, the little black one, was struggling and couldn’t drink milk on its own. We stepped in to help, preparing nutritious meals for the mother to boost her strength. Despite our efforts, the black puppy didn’t survive, leaving her deeply saddened. She lost interest in food and spent her days gazing mournfully into the distance.

Over time, with gentle care and love, she slowly healed. Her remaining puppies thrived and were eventually adopted by kind families. Now, she’s embracing a new life filled with warmth, love, and brighter days ahead.
