An abandoned kitten was found by a trash bin, too young and vulnerable, crying for help. Although barely a month old, it was lively and vocal, fighting for its life. The rescuer immediately bought high-quality kitten milk, then examined the kitten closely, finding it covered in fleas and minor wounds. Once home, they gave the kitten a warm bath, carefully removing all the fleas. After multiple washes, its fur looked cleaner and fresher.
To make the kitten comfortable, the rescuer set up a cozy box with a hot water bottle and a soft pad. The kitten was fed frequently in small amounts, gradually adjusting to a feeding bottle. Each day, the rescuer lovingly monitored its health and helped it with basic needs like feeding and digestion, essential for kittens this young.
Naming the kitten “May” after the month it was rescued, the rescuer grew attached. There were challenges as May’s health faltered, with signs of weakness and coldness. Despite the odds and sleepless nights, the rescuer persisted, trying every way to help the fragile kitten survive. May’s story is a heartfelt reminder of the resilience in nurturing love and the commitment it takes to save a small life.
