As a pair of rescuers were having their daily walk, they noticed a little brown ball in a hole in the ground.
When they got closer, they noticed that the ball had an eye. That was when they realized it was actually a pup. They started calling out to it but when they noticed that he wasn’t moving, they knew something was wrong.
The sweet boy was so exhausted that he wasn’t even able to wag his tail. He could only move his eyes, hoping that somebody would notice him and offer some help.
You Are Safe Now
After some investigating, the rescuers found out that the pup was actually abandoned by his owner, who no longer wanted to care for him. Devastated by this news, the kind people carefully picked up the pup and took him to the vet.
The second he felt the warm hand of his rescuer, the pup, now named Angel, immediately started moving his tired body. It was as if he was trying to show them that he was willing to get better!
The second he arrived at the vet, the kind hoomans began treating him.
They started with a nice warm bath. After that, he was given a head-to-tail check-up so that the doctors could fully understand his condition. The second they got the test results back, they placed Angel on the necessary medication and treatment.
After three short days, this sweet boy started showing signs of improvement. When his doctors saw him standing up all on his own, they were brought to tears.
The Road To Recovery
As day seven rolled around, Angel hit a new milestone. He was now able to eat on his own. Every single meal placed in front of him was cleaned up in a matter of minutes!
And even though this may be a small victory to some, his doctors knew how important this was for his recovery.
Two weeks later, Angel was completely unrecognizable.
He was a strong boy who was determined to lead a happy and healthy life. And that’s exactly what happened!
Angel was taken in by a loving foster mom who was completely head over heels for him. She was determined to provide this pup the best environment where he could regain his health and remember how sweet life can be.
He also had tons of furry foster siblings who kept him company and reminded him how strong and brave he actually was.
I know that, when the time is right, this sweet boy will find himself a home of his own with a family who will love and cherish him for who he truly is!
