A Rottweiler named Jessie surprised her owners by giving birth to an unexpected litter of 15 puppies after more than 7 hours of labor. The owners attempted to assist with feeding the newborns, but Jessie insisted on caring for them herself. Concerned for her well-being, the owners are planning to have her spayed to prevent future large litters.

While it may seem like a rare occurrence, dogs can give birth to multiple puppies at once, with the world record standing at 21 puppies. In the UK, Jessie’s delivery of 15 puppies has attracted attention, as it is a significant number compared to the average litter size.
